BMW is before the premiere at the upcoming motor show in Los Angeles introduced the second generation of the 2015 BMW X5 M and X6 M. It is therefore of performance versions of two popular Bavarian SUV that will, with more aggressive styling and of course get stronger powertrain, that will be powered by 4.4 V8 bi-turbo power of 423 kW or 575 hp.What do we expect more of these models, we will see below. The two vehicles we took together to process a number of reasons, that we would not be cited alone will conclude during the reading of this text.
2015 BMW X5 M and X6 M Exterior and Interior
But first things first and say that both models received new front bumper with larger air intake vents, redesigned grille, new aerodynamic mirror housings, aluminum 21-inch wheels with Michelin Super Sport UHP tires in size 285/35 front and 325/30 back. Furthermore, there are new rear bumper and diffuser, which is bounded by two pairs of exhaust finish, as well as several various other finishing and decoration.
Through a similar M treatment is over and the inside of the car where you can find sports seats covered with Merino leather, refined instrument panel, leather-clad dashboard, Alcantara roof lining, sport steering wheel with aluminum gearshift knob, various decorations and the like. Also, there is a 4-zone climate control, Harman Kardon audio system.
Engine and Performance
Both models therefore launches upgraded 4.4-liter V8 bi-turbo power of 423 kW or 575 hp between 6,000 and 6,500 r/min and maximum torque of 750 Nm. Compared to the previous generation of this engine is 3.6% stronger torque with a 10% higher fuel consumption and emissions of carbon dioxide is 20% lower, respectively amounted to 11.1 l/100 km and 258 g/km CO2.
The engine is paired with an 8-speed Steptronic automatic transmission M and the worked-drive system on all four wheels, which allows for full torque distribution between front and rear axles, although, of course, primarily in favor of the rear wheels.

Among other technical innovations the most notable M Servotronic steering system, a sports tuned suspension that lowers the floor for 10 mm, more powerful brakes, the optimized DSC stability control system of the vehicle and Dynamic Damper Control system that allows three damper settings work.
