The Cummins-powered Frontier would get around 21.4 miles per gallon compared to 18miles per gallon for the 2014 V6-powered Frontier. Nissan says that the pickup has been tested over 600,000 miles, in real-world conditions such as, mud, rock, dirt and tarmac.
The 2016 Frontier is powered by a 2.8-liter four cylinder capable of close to 200 horsepower, and more than 350 lb-ft of torque, according to Nissan. The company expects the powerful diesel will provide a 35% fuel economy improvement over the current 4.0l gasoline V6.

The 2016 Frontier will definitely be made with an awesome exterior. The sneak peeks offered by the Automaker shows the Frontier’s signature three-piece grille, a large chromed emblem and of course the L-shaped LED lights. Nissan has been tight-lipped when it comes to the price range for the new 2016 Frontier.
